Why Do Qatari's Like Football? I know this is a stupid Question but why i mean does it have to do with something.A thousand Question pop out of my head and wanna ask.
Qataris don't like football that much - they just turn up to finals and important fixtures.
they don't have the culture of spectators and fans as in other countries.
Other supporters cheer their teams even when they are losing. Qataris throw bottles. Footballers like most of us are paid to do a job and Qataris expect results.
The majority of Qataris support Al Rayyan but Al Sadd has a growing fan base.
Talk to many Qataris about camel racing... falcon flying... hunting ...then you see faces light up and a true love and passion.
I know we call it soccer in Canada...but its not a british term...the whole world calls it football (kinda makes sense since you use your feet a heck of a lot more than in grid iron...what north americans call football)...with the exception of Canada and the States.
But even in Canada it is now pushing the highest level of participation in youth sports (gasp...even surpassing hockey!).
Stay safe all.
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
im canadian i guess thats why i dont like football. (Soccer.) I dont like british terms like football instead of soccer lorries instead of trucks rubbish instead of garbage etc. I like basketball. Now thats a nice sport.

Who doesn't like football? (except maybe North Americans...and even there it is gaining popularity....slowly but surely).
Stay safe all.
