Hiiii!!! Anybody is going to The Center? What kind of supermarket is there? Is it Megamert? and if it is, do they have the same staff as Landmark? Thanks for the answers!

Megamart at The Centre is the one I usually complain about not having 'packed on/sell by' stamps on their pre-packed fruit and veg. I've given up mentioning it!

Where the loose salad, fruit and veg is concerned, if I think the goods look 'sad' I get them to go to the store and bring me a fresh box of whatever I'm wanting. That works!

Bakery looks OK, although I don't buy pastries, just bread. And as for the rest of the store, it's pretty well stocked!

I just high horse it about the pre-packed lollo rosso, or raspberries which if not already slimy when you unpack them at home that day, then they are by the next.

Yum Yum - so looking forward to supper after that description ;P

Oh everyone else there is perfectly charming and the epitome of friendliness and helpfulness! But now I'm talking badly about him so must stop :(

I'm very persevering so am not giving up!

Is he there all the time? How can I recognize him? (apart from no smile on the face)

Better go to Landmark, there are very nice staff, one egyptian looking man who always asks me how I am, and 2 new filipinas who are also very nice. From them you will get dozens of smiles.

I think hell would feeze over before he would laugh! It's probably just me but I think he could manage 'OK, thanks'or a smile. Pretty universal words.

That's sounds like a mission! :) I will try it defenetely once I get there. If he doesn't smile, we have to go there together once, and make faces and jokes until he loughs out loud! :)

Yes they do...I think it is called 'Bakemart' but I'm not sure.

Good luck on the Deli counter. I have been trying to get the guy who usually works it to crack a smile unsuccessfully for months. I always smile at him and enquire how he is, ask him if he's had a busy day, etc. Nothing. Nada. Usually he doesn't even respond to my couple of questions. If he is friendly to you let me know. Then I'll know it's just me!

Yes, Megamart is at The Centre. It is smaller than the one at Landmark.
