(other than the obvious for those re-uniting with absent partners) what's the first thing you do when you get home on leave?

After Eid I'll be back in Doha a couple of nights a week. Will try and partake of a few QL events/get-togethers to keep my sanity, still no draft cider though :(

Adey, sorry if nowt is available in big Dhuk. Get yo'self down to Doha, and see the lights!! Plenty going on with QL (it seems), and I am sure you can always get a crash.

this will seem a bit creepy, but the first thing i do, is to look for lizards and then get someone to chase them out of the house ASAP. they scare the living daylights out of me.the first week is sleepless nights becasue i wake up dreaming of them.

gosh, my vacation is coming up.

happy heart

I know that Ql is very 'Doha-centric', but we get to cuss an' booze any night we want!

What you get up to in swingin' Dukhan??

to drink draft CIDER, where we use the bluest language and I don't feel guilty about it or have to keep looking over my shoulder.

I am quite fortunate - I have friend who get me stacks of books when I am away. I usually bring back 20 - 30 K of 'decent' books each time.

Enjoy your leave! I am travelling next Weds. night - can't (bloody) wait!

I don't eat bacon, or red meat, so not a problem for me...oh and forgot to add, the beach where you can wear as much or little as you want without feeling like a slut!!
