Reliable Hairdresser?

My friends that live here all have had awful experiences with the "hairdressers" here. When I moved here, they all warned me that I would have to wait until I fly out of the country to have my hair done.

The GOOD news!! I found an EXCELLENT place! Go to Hillary and Pam at that new Glow salon! I'm telling everyone I know, because I want to see them stay here in doha (i'm very selfish, you see.)

Pam for color and Hillary for cuts.

Think twice, the barber at Ritz Carlton charges QR. 120 and in Landmark 80. But they are pros and stylists aswell.

Try the hair dressers in landmark or Ritz Carlton. Or try Hollywood in Al Sadd, near royal plaza. Even cute cut at city center.

I'm surprised he didn't run me over as well...he doesn't pay that in a year to get his cut...lol...I think they charge more for blonde hair, as they are not used to it...who knows; I'm not going back, that's all I know!!

How about men? I keep my hai short so I need to have my hair trimmed every month. I see that you usually go to barbar shops in hotels like 4 seasons. How much does it cost, roughly, for a guy to have hair cut there? Is QR100 enough?

my last haircut about 2 or 3 mths ago was QR 150 ... and i only have short hair. But then again ... i am happy with the result.

i am with PM ... marie clare always asked me first carefully what i want to do with my hair. And she never disappointed me ... :D

I can't wait till have a chance to travel - that will be not earlier than next year. And as I wear quite a short cut hair style - I need trimming it every month. Now it looks terrible!!!

Yeap, had the same experience, even at the 4 seasons and ritz...they all want to cut your hair short....all my friends have had the same thing happen...what's with that?? Forget it if you have blonde hair, as it always goes yellow after a few weeks. I suggest you wait to travel abroad like me, or hopefully some kind QLer knows of a excellent hairdresser in Doha!!
