Hi to everyone! I just want to ask for your help and tips...

I am planning to buy camera lens and other accessories for my DSLR at amazon.com costing around 1800 USD. I already have the aramex account and address in the US & UK that they provided, but I just want to know first if Qatar customs are going to charge taxes for these? And one more thing, is the shipping safe for these kind of things?

Can you imagine what an outrageously lucrative scam that would be if the govt. started charging tax on stuff coming into Qatar? Like, that would be everything in existence here mostly, including the population. :D Ha!

There will be no tax for the item. Your order will come in the original mail packaging from the amazon. The packaging is sturdy enough I did not experience any problems like damages to my previous orders.
