place to take animals. HELP PLEASE!!

While I was leaving the Megamart this afternoon I found this tiny kitten (maybe a month old or so). I couldn't leave it there to possibly get run over by all the cars coming and going around that area so I brought it home with me. I can't keep the kitten though b.c I will be leaving Qatar in 3 weeks. I am not sure of any places around here (like an animal shelter) to take the kitten. It has an eye infection and while it may survive awhile in the area around my apartment I don't think it will live that long without someone to care for it. Does anyone know of a place I could take the kitten? Or does anyone want a kitten? I know cats are a dime a dozen here but I just can't bear sending it to its death outside. It is really sweet. HELP PLEASE!

Thank you for letting me know about the animal hospital. I will definatly take the kitten there for its eye infection. As far as posting it on the Animal and pets site on here...what do you think the chances of adoption are? I am not sure how many people are actually looking to adopted kittens. Do you have any thoughts/guesses on how often pets from there are adopted?

You can take the cat to the government vet clinic. It is on the road to Wakra from the airport. What used to be the Parachute rondabout. It has a traffic light now. The building is on your right just before the traffic light. The name on it is something like Animal resources....

It is open from 7am to 1pm. Go around the back though. There they will give you antibiotica shots & cream free of charge. Re adoption, place your info on the website Animals & Pets. Good luck
