Action_Unltd.

is taken care by the company, then go ahead. Unless ur married and wanna bring down ur family. then u betta talk to ur company.

It's a good package and yup, u can save a bit provided ur life style is a bit on the tamed side.

hope u do know that working hours are supposedbly 8 hours and anything over that is considered to be over time.

All the best !!!

you transport too.

I think your salary is quite good.As you said you will get QR 6125+ housing and some other benifits.

You have just 3 years experience. In gulf there are people (engineers) with 10 years experience, but get only about 5000.

I advice you to go ahead and join.

good luck

I want to add a comment for people who want to give comments.

Please don't give advice based on what is acceptable to you if you are not in the same field or have no knowledge in the field.

Of course a CEO of a company will say that's not enough for him.

@Kellog, I can't answer that question my friend since I don't know what you'll be doing and I'm a shoppaholic :P

But if you have accommodation, you've sorted the most expensive thing about Qatar :)

@novita, you're comments on the forums are always helpfull ^_^

kellog ... will not suggest you to go to work with Karwa Taxi. They are not reliable at all. But i guess the money you earn wont be enough to pay limousine (posh version of taxis) to go to work daily.

i dont know what your standard by decent living ... internet in Doha cost 200 QR monthly (minimum), movie / cinema QR 30 per person, coffee bean drink around 15 QR and above.

and also ... beware once you are here ... you won't be able to leave the country as you please. You need to attain an exit permit from your employer.

You probably will get by ... but dont expect to save much.

I think if you just keep clicking through the threads in this forum you should get some idea of the cost of living here.

There is also a site called iloveqatar which may have some useful information in it.
