Since, I was reprimanded by our High Council Leader of QL, I will apologize for my words, it was not intended to disrespect you Amnesia.

Please my friends take your confessions some where else. Darude is under going obedience SCHOOL while wearing a mussel and a tight CHAIN leash. The High Council has boarded up The Confession Booth, I'm on penitence until further noticed and not in a good mood.

People can't say that you have absolutely nothing! After all, you have inferiority! Anyone who told you to be yourself couldn't have given you worse advice so please for all our sakes stay in your "cage"

Darude and Red Pope, I want to please love me. I am not bragging, merely sharing with you what a wonderful person I am since you don't know already. Here is just a sample of my life:

toured with Madonna,

featured on A&E Biography,

own my own island,

Versace muse,

won American Idol,

Hang out with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,

I will allow you to join my fan club for a small fee, but only on a trail basis. If I don't think you are dedicating enough time to seeing how wonderful I am, then I will just have to put you down.

Guys some people might have some strange types of humour, and that's all good, but to some it's not easily understood.

That's why alot of people on these forums always put up a cage or sometimes just disappear.

I did read Red_pope's comment a couple of times and tried to see the humour behind it, but I'm sure you'll agree that it's easy to be misunderstood when someone says "I don't care, you didn't make it in Hollywood so you're nothing but an ego".

Maybe I'm a sensitive person, but I think that I'm just with my explanation right?

I like the forum to be a happy place.

and on a main topic, I'm still interested in the medal if you want to sell it volunteer.

Guy why are you so negative.

I don't want to ever make it in Bollywood, and if I could make it in Hollywood it would be nice...

You cared enough to post a reply to me so that's all I need.

To me there is a difference between dry humour and straight up insult.

There is nothing for people to pick on, I've had some acheivements that I was proud of and I was sharing them with a group that I considered to be friends. I didn't realize I had to keep my guard up against people here.

What ever rocks your world MR. Celebrity.

I don't care a bit!!!

Sorry dude you could not understand my dry humor.

Don't hurt your self with all your padding in the back.

Don't let your ego open for others to pick on you.

You still did not made it to Bollywood or Hollywood.

P.S.

Darude has The confession Booth open for more achievements stories.

They were a few people who were traveling back to their countries.

I did indeed say that I wasn't part of it, some sighed, some thought I was just trying to get away, and some didn't understand what I was saying so it was easier to just please them.

However I didn't get any gifts...?

I've had more celebrity treatment than that though :P.

I've been on a guest slot on Japan's Bakuten Show by Yoshimoto Kogyo.

I've been on the Gulf Air Advertisements.

I've also been a model for the Bahrain dental association.

Oh how I wish I could be an actor.

So you got your 5 minute celebrity treatment in the Airport.

Did you told them that you was not an Olympian and some regular old Joe?, Did you return all gifts given to you back to the Committee?

Just commenting in your 5 minute celebrity treatment.

I got a nice medal from the Kuwaitis

Is called The Kuwait Liberation Medal. Is pure Gold and is gorgeous.

It was giving to us by the Kuwait Government to all US soldiers who participated in the liberating of Kuwait from the Iraq Army in 1991.

Its value None, I sweat it my butt for that one!

The value of a medal is value on the weight of the personal sentiment behind it.

LOL

I was going to comment on it. I was reading it in Brittanica Encyclopedia on-line. Cool...

Dhofar Rebellion in Oman (1960's-1970's)-Marxist rebels, aided by South Yemen, fought against the conservative, pro-western Omani government. The Shah of Iran sent troops to help fight the rebels, and Britain supplied officers for the the Omani army. The rebels were defeated in the early 1970s.

I'll buy it! I missed the Asian games and I was so proud that Qatar hosted it. I missed the finale by 1 day because my flight was delayed.

I also was mistaken for a team player at the airport.

The team was wearing Nike body lycra shirts, and I was wearing one similar which was black (They're soo cool, slot for mp3 headphones, mobile, and have these amazing air pockets to keep you cool) and I was being asked for autographs :P

my husband was awarded a medal by Oman for his services as a civilian working with the military during their war with The Yemen.

I searched on e-bay a few months ago and there were several of them for sale, very cheap and I never saw a single bid for any of them.

He used to hang it on the headboard of our bed!

100 cents for:

The value of metal being measure in the purity of the mineral that was use.

50 cents for:

The weight that determines its value, once you know the purity of the medal.

20 cents for:

Pure Lead or bronze has a value only for bullets only.

1 Cents for:

The craftsmanships of the medal probably was cast in China.

My total offer will be 1.71 USD.

J/k

Does it has a serial number in the back of medal?

If it does, then is a collectible item.

Go online and check collectible pins from the Olympics.

That will give you a general Idea.

You better of with E-bay dude.

Why don't you post a picture of the medal on Qatar Living?

I probably buy it from you.
