Laboratory Test Results...Please advise...

Hello guys!

After my 2nd xray at medical commission, they referred me to CD Clinic in Rumaillah Hospital. There, I had some laboratory tests for 3 days. The nurse told me that i was referred by Medical Commission because there's abnormality in my lung and they want to make sure if i have TB.

First day, I had my PPD injected/skin test, sputum test. The nurse also checked my blood pressure, body temperature, weight, height and some sort of questions.

Second day, i was advised not to take breakfast, not to drink water or any liquid, and then they conducted sputum test again and blood test.

On the third day, they read my PPD and it was 6mm (after 48 hrs.) and had my sputum test for the last time.

After those three days of laboratory tests, the nurse gave me an appointment with the doctor today. She said, they would call me if there's any problem with my tests.

When I went back to CD Clinic for the appointment scheduled, I was assessed by the Doctor. He looked at my 2 films of x-rays. Then he asked me if I had an accident before (because i was diagnosed with Pleural Thickening in my Left lung). So I told him what really happened, I had an accident 15 years ago when i fell from the tree. After that i was suffering from fever and cough and then i was confined at regional hospital. In the hospital I was inserted with chest tube twice because the first one was a mistake. I was separated from the group of patients with pulmonary diseases and I was with the group of patients with normal illness (i mean not communicable disease). And i also told the doctor that i worked last year in Bahrain for 1 year and 2 months and i was not informed about my medical since i also had my medical there.

Then, the Doctor instructed me to come with the nurse outside. The nurse gave me a letter and told me that i will give that letter to our company...The letter says:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

My name and other details...

The above mentioned named has completed investigations at the Communicable Disease Clinic (TB Clinic) in Rumaillah Hospital and a report is being prepared for him/her. He/She is to report to the General Medical Commission after 10 working days due on 9/Aug/07.

Now my question is, how would i know the result of my laboratory tests? Does it mean that I am PTB Negative? Why should I go back to Medical Commission?

Please advise...

Thank you!
