We are moving to Doha 31st August and wondered if you can now buy atificial Xmas trees and decorations in any shops leading up to Xmas or should we bring our own with us.
We lived in Doha 10 years ago and remember it was very limited and what was for sale was rubbish.
Any advice welcome please.

You can buy fake trees and inexpensive decorations in several small stores as well as more expensive items in the large department stores. My favorite hidden jewels are Naas stores (called the Christmas souq) and a place on airport road near Al-rawnaq--I can't think of it's name right now. I even saw dozens of nativity sets there. You can even buy a live tree in Doha.

I also want some X-Mas trees to be planted into my living room! We can make it like a small forest! at least I don't have to bring out my dog in this hot. And you can imitate the snowfall with some snowspray! :D
