House buying in Qatar
Hello,
I will be moving soon to Qatar with my family (from Canada), I am wondering if anybody has advice to give us on buying houses in Qatar:
-are foreigners allowed to buy properties?
-any idea on interest rates? bank loans? monthly installments?
-what is the first payment percentage?
-do you think it is a good investement?
Please advise!

You forgot to mention that all of the properties are in construction phase and none of them is likely to be ready in less than 2 years from now.

- Expats are allowed to buy property in certain locations in Doha.
- Mortgage is available through banks,if you are working for
Govt/Semi Govt organizations its more easy to process the loan.
- 20% down payment, but there are exceptions.
