Warning From Qatar Point!

DaRuDe, Azzy, Gypsy, e46 and the rest of you. I felt off my chair reading about what happened there. Buddy ... no one can do such a thing without having you ftp username and password. If you were careless enough to give it to some irresponsible people or to lose it that way. It is your problem then, while I don't think so.

Your website is having a lot of technical problems and that is why when some people try to open it they got this message. It might be your bad hosting as well, but don't blame it on QL members. We don't have any problems with you having that QP, we are happy here and believe in 'Live and let the others live'. Hope that you would be telling the people that I'm facing technical problems rather than coming here and threaten someone who does not even exist and you have it their only in your mind.

i experienced the same problem yesterday. QL was freakin slow, i had to leave my pc for while to give it time to process everytime i posted a comment. so QP is qatar point i thought qatar petroleum...silly me :-) never got the chance to browse other website.

it will install in about 10 to 15min but dont delete IE coz some MS are only linked to IE.so hold on to it.second thing do defregment ur pcs once a month so the pc works smooth too.

Yesterday can't open QL...Today also pages are loading very slow.

I thought some virus has struck..

But hearing comments, it got to do with Q-Tel..

Hope things improves!!!

Ok, I'm on it, but it still seems slow. I think Q-Tel is really messing up this weekend.

i thought my pc at work and pc at home are gone nutz drunk but then i thought maybe Qatari is right about firefox so i installed firefox the latest version and its fast and smooth.try that. where as the IE is still taking time to upload any page.Firefox version 2.0.0.4

how you tranpire with this conclusion? If you really a Techi-man, you would not easily come up with this kind of statement. are you saying that Q-Tel server is easy to access by someone? You should not only rely on email msgs you received, did you do some test,ping connections or browse log reports from your server? just asking...

its a Q-TEL technical problem, yesterday our laptops having trouble in getting IP addresses and connections. If we got connected, its too slow(10Mbps only, the usual 100MBps LAN speed and 1Mbs only the usual 54MBps wireless speed) to download any websites(including QL site) we wanted to visit.

Yesterday it took ages for me to open QL. Did anyone of us accused QP for that???

gypsy i had problems loading the pages yesterday, this hadnt taken place before and my non-technosavvy mind thought it was becasue i was trying to access qatarpoint too:-D

Aside from this silly comment can I just ask if anyone else has had problems with things loading. It can take 5 to 10 minutes lately for my QL page to load, and Q-Point took about 15 minute. My facebook is taking forever too. Looks like problems with Q-Tel (SHOCK!)

Either QP is not very much technical or he doesn’t have as much “Wasta” (thanks for the word N77) as he claims.

Because if QP is as powerful as he claims then he would have found out who did it or if he is techno guy then he would have sorted out the server problem easily.

So he is neither.

His childish act speaks volume about his personality.

be so menacing in a site that you don't belong to? You registered as a member so you can post your threats here? If some info came from your members, do investigate and gather evidences before you jump in and point accusing fingers to anyone.

OMG...this is getting to be out of control...I'm not frantic here though I sound to be but do control yourself and try to resolve these issues professionally and adult-like.

Please look into the matter in a different perspective, Mr, Qatar Point. What would you do or how will you react if someone from QL would go to your site and start making accusations like what you're doing right now?

I do like QP as another forum to browse on but QL is my home and my family.

These kind of posts from people from the other site makes me wonder about FREE ENTERPRISE here in Qatar? It's getting to be ridiculous and irritating as well...but we need to keep our heads cool and logic sane enough to resolve this. I guess, some people love to stir up some trouble and find happiness in riling people.

Again, if you would be so kind to explain as this accusations and threats of one losing a job is kind of uncalled for.

Did noticed that! Every other sites are working but not QP! now who ever did that I'm sure he'll pay! Insecurity makes a lot of difference to a person! ;-)
