Looking to move to Doha from Australia, (Need some guidance on rent etc)
Currently living in Australia. I and am currently considering taking up a role with Qatar National Bank as an Analyst.
Looking for the best place to rent a furnished apartment as close as possible to the QNB head office (not sure where this is yet). An assistance around best locations and approximate price I will have to be would be very much appreciated
I am a keen golfer, but have been told there is only 1 proper golf course in Qatar. Any other keen golfer out there?

Yep there is only one golf course but a million miles of bunker around the country if you want to practice.
Accomodation situation is pretty expensive screwed up over here, your best bet is to share with people. The tax free salary and low transport costs easily make up for what you spend in rent though ;-)
hi laeek ... welcome to the forum. You will have to tell us how much you will be getting for your housing allowance, and what type of accommodation you rather prefer, independent villa or villa in a compound or a flat. Then people can advice you location.
Failed on that ... you can search the forum with 'search' function ... these type of question already discussed many times before.
and when you arrived in doha ... make sure you buy marhaba book from carrefour ... tons of information inside it.
