What is the insurance claim process for own accidents ( like damages caused due to parking etc). Also where is the QIC office and the timings there?
The QIC is near the post office, behind the commercial bank.
If you dont speak Arabic, take an arabic-speaking friend. go to the second floor, take a number and get in line.
Thanks hari do you know the location of QIC and whats the process there? I already have the police part of the formality done. Oh and its a full insurance vehicle

insurance claim depend on ur insurance type (3rd party / fully comprehensive) if ur vehicle is fully insured, u should obtain a police report & repair permit frm khalifa town police station as anonemous accident (u hav 2 pay 100 + 6X2 riyals for stamp) then u can proceed to QIC to get repaired by their cost. if ur having only 3rd party insurance, u just get a repair permit to repair ur vehicle at ur cost. note : if the vehicle is not older than 1 year & having fully comprehensive policy, u have a right to get repaired in sole agents garage.
