the parasailing in sheraton is nice, 150 Qr for 15 minutes. you can also do paragliding at the dunes, but won't last that long in the air. even if you won't find any contacts, just drive there and drive avout 15 minutes south of sealine into the desert, along the beach cost, you will eventually see couple of expts paragliding, i've met them more than once over there
is only about 103 metres above sea level, can you hanglide or paraglide from that?
Would love to try it but Qatar really doesnt have the peaks/cliffs necessary for height, sure there are plenty of thermals and the wind in some areas at certain times of the year are definitly up for it.
