Hello Everyone,

I will be arriving in Doha in May for a new position and my husband is hoping to join me but would first like to find a job for himself. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from a very good American University plus 20 years experience in the water and wastewater field including work for municipalities and with private industries. He is well versed in the design, operation and maintenance of these types of facilities as well as operating the applicable laboratories and managing personnel.

Does anyone know where he could submit his resume for consideration?

Thank you for all of your help!

Hello Tweety. Your best bet will be Violia. They happen to be a French water and environmental engg. org., the largest workforce in their category worldwide. Violia is in the process of setting up an office here in Doha with some of their key/anchor staff already in the country. They're here for the Shell - Pearl GTL subcontract.

Your second best bet is WorleyParsons who've just won a major project (subcontract) to engineer the first waste to energy plant in Qatar.

QP is perhaps the best potential employer for his credentials.

Good Luck

Ask your husband to Goggle search "QATAR PETROLEUM" and he could check out the vacancies in that company and the affiliates. he just need to register in that website so he could submit his CV. Waiting period is 90days but if he fits the position, they could call him soon.

From what I know, these companies sponsors the menfolks but not the ladies. The compensation package is quite good as well.

Best of luck!!!
