of the major malls have a DVD hire section, usually well stocked with the latest releases (usually in a loose sense), some of the DVD's will also not actually be released at the cinema yet which to me is a little strange, but im not complaining.
We use the Mall (on D ring), food shop (Merch) in the corner between the pharmacy and the main entrance.

There is a Video / DVD shop beside Food palace in al sadd. For QR 10 each. Try and pay a visit.
Mall, DVD section at Q-Mart has made a lot of customers happy.

U can try FFC (Family food centre airport road) or the Mall in the airport area as well.... all of them sell and rent DVD's....
