Pakistan Cricket Coach Bob Woolmer Dead
The headline says it all. A very sad news indeed.
News channels says either he had a heart attack or consumed poisonous substance.
An earlier report on the website said, "
KINGSTON, Jamaica (AFP): | |
Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer was taken to hospital after he was found unconscious on the floor of his hotel room, an official said on Sunday. "We have taken Bob Woolmer to the hospital and he is in the emergency ward. We don't know anything more at the moment," Pakistan team media manager Pervez Mir told AFP. Pakistan were knocked out of the World Cup on Saturday after a shock three-wicket defeat to Ireland. Sky Sports reported that Woolmer was found at 1045 local time (1545GMT) on the floor of his hotel room unconscious and with signs of vomiting. The 58-year-old Woolmer was taken to the Kingston University Hospital. |
am surprised he survived the high voltage high pressure job this long..... talk of occupational hazards!!!!
there was a report on bbc online about how stressful recent pakistani locker room meetings were...
while his death could be a direct result of pakistans disastrous show in the world cup, it could also be an underlying health condition which could be totally unrelated....
but im surprised why should the poisoning theory spring up suddenly?
Does anybody know if there are private car lifts available from Doha City to Alkhor. I live near Saudi Road Area (Murra) and looking for a daily transport to Al Khor.
Any body there?!
of great coach and greater person .May his soul rest in peace.
May his departed soul R.I.P
On the bright side, Hershille Gibbs hit 6 sixes!
