i heard alot about work visas taking toomuch time to be issued.
I am a lebanese journalist, and i will be joining Aljazeera int. whenever the work visa is issued. so the question is, being a lebanese will help easing the procedure, or it will harden it.???

Abou Hashem,

This is your third post already! lol

I can assure you with near certainty that Lebanese nationals do not have any problems getting Visas. I know, I am Palestinian and my relatives cannot even visit me here in Qatar let alone come work here, (I was spared because I happen to have American Citizenship)

Talk to Human Resources at AJI, I am sure they will be able to provide you with all the necessary information.

I know, it is very, very sad that Americans and other Westerners have virtual impunity in entering and leaving the country whereas citizens from other Arab/Muslim countries have a very tough time aquiring work/residence permits. Speaks to the condition our Arab nation is in nowadays. :(

Allah'y Sahel Umourak 7abibi!

Salamat wa 3afieh.

Al-Hamdu Lillah. Many of the locals here feel sad & worried about the changes that might happen.

May Allah grant you victory, safety, & quick access to useful things (i.e. coming to Qatar to help feeding your family), & the ability to obey Him.

In August, they let Lebanese people enter to Qatar easily due to the unstable events there.

We are in a Muslim country (i.e. no drinking of khamr, eating in public during the day in the month of Ramadhan, publically showing arms, legs, hair, neck, ears, being in unncecessary coed places).
