Beverly Hills Towers

Hi All,

I went in the other day and made an enquiry on the rental rates for Beverly Hills Towers, I could not believe that for a two bedroom apartment they were after 15,000 a month + 10% service fee a month, which makes it 16,500 riyals a month.

The thing that bothered me is that they dont mention anything about the monthly service fee.

This is another way they are trying to make money of us!!

No wonder why the retail sector is suffering, no one can afford to spend anything as the rents are too high!!.

My two dirhams for the day.

I am from Australia as well, the rent wont go down as much as people home as they have earmarked 15 areas to be demolished. This means people in those areas will have to find alternate accomodation.

The 14,500 riyals rent does not include the 10% service charge a month which they dont advertise. Plus all these apartments have gone to 1 company. The remainding apartments are the expensive ones.

Do you think that the rents might reduce at all in the next few months? We're moving (back) over fron Australia some time in the mid year and are hoping the rental market will have eased back a bit by then. Wishful thinking?

BTW, the latest ad we saw on the internet for Beverley Hills Towers was that a 2 bedroom was 14,500.

What's the latest rental goss?

Yes, we went and looked. We found the prices very high especially since the finishing isn't very good.
