QP Site Interview

I am in US and initially qualified the phone interview for an I.T. job at QP. Now they invited me for a site interview. Its a senior level position but they haven't given me any job description and said I'll find out more during the interview.
Can anyone tell me:
1. What should I expect in the interview process?
2. Is this normally a panel interview, any written test, etc?
3. Any dos and donts for the interview?
4. Any other preparations I need before the interview?
5. If they offer me the position, is there a room for negotiations, if so, in what areas (salary, housing allowance, terms of employment, etc.)

Thanks for any suggestion.

my CV was shortlisted

I was called for the Englsh Test

I was called for the computer Test

then after 02 months they called me for the Site Interview

Now its more than 03 months, no response from QP.

finally they mentioned that they forward my details to HR and if i am selected they will call for the offer.

My Question is if im not selected by any reason, is there any other opportunity in QP or again i have to go thorough A to Z, CV Submission, english test, Computer test etc..

any body has any clue?

I applied for a different position but they are considering me for a Senior Systems Engineer position. They haven't provided me with a job description and said it will be given during the site interview. This is weird. I've never had that kind of interview. I have been in IT for over 20 years with last several years in technical management. Any ideas?

BHappy is correct in that ALL jobs within QP have a job description (JD) so one should be provided. The job advert is a summary of the JD.

Sami, All jobs have jobs description associated with them. When you have applied for the job, you must have done it after reading the description of the job as there are various areas of experties in IT. If you can paste the job description that you saw when you applied for the position, I can provide you better advice. Now, The site interview has mostly two or three parts in it.

1. On the first day You will be going to meet a techincal panel of people who will ask you about techincal aspect of your job. This is very similar to any techincal interview in US or Canada. This will also include an explaination of what you will be doing in that job and some technical questions. It's not that you will have to give any test or provide any specific command.

You may also see IT manager after the technical interview.

2. On the second day, you may first go for a medical test or will first go to meet HR personal and they will explain the package that is generally offered to this position. By this time, HR must have received a feed back from the people who conducted your interview on the first day and based on the input from them, HR will offer you a tentative package. You can negotiate with them but it generally does not make much difference.

You will then be sent for medical which will include a blood test, urine test, some cardio etc.

After returning home, depending upon your interview, you will get an offer letter from QP HR.

Regards,

It may be only an HR round they just want to judge a canditate weather he is worth that position before giving appointment letter. So present yourself in best of attire and full of confidence and I don't think any written interview for the senior position, QP is very good paymaster its again depend if the offer meets your expections.
