in my home country people usually cut some lamb or cow and share it with the poor in the queue, then back to home make lamb satay with friends, so much joy! hey the whole district smells like lamb!!
i am trying to have some activity plan like staying and relaxing in one fo the hotels and resort, although they are few but i will try my best to be away of Doha and work
well we have our own family plans, my in-laws have this great tradition of going to eid prayers and then coming home from prayers and just gathering with the family and listning to music, chatting, and playing with my son, until other extended family members arrive, in which then we have a big feast consisting of stuffed lamb and rice and gravy and the whole shebang. It is a great gathering of all family members and a great feast, after that we have a little nap and head out to a nice serene cafe with the family to have somewhere nice to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and desert or we head to the park for some outdoor fun.......now that is our plan for eid almost every eid. and since I was raised in canada we didn't have much of a eid over there so this is much better than back home.
