Where I work, you are much better getting an international contract, with yearly flights included and much better pay, than getting the same job locally.

It's also a big risk coming here to get work. I have a friend who has been here for several months looking for work and has so far been unsuccessful. Why not try from abroad - you can then also look at Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai and so on, giving you a much wider choice of jobs.

Try to apply from there and get a selection for the initial interveiw first coz other wise it would cost you a lot....In Qatar you need either good work experience(5 to 6 year minimum and good communication skills also) or should know a few people around who could do some thread pulling for your job....A lot of hotels are coming up in Qatar...there are opportunities.

Try this link for the Ritz:

In fact, there are over thrity hotels opening within the next few years. But I will suggest you apply over the internet. Try Ritz as they are opening a resort in December and have lots of jobs available.
