look up the thread with this title so you can have a better idea of what you're getting yourself into. you will survive, but if you're planning to save money, that may not be very feasible at that rate.

I have free accommondation, transportation allowance, Uniform and & Laudry allowance as well but not including meal allowance. So what do you think I got only QR 2,130/month. Can I servive in doha?
yah, i know, their branch in Manila is also expensive, around PhP2000 (around QR150) for a haircut, but I hear it's great. most big time celebrities here go there for hair and make up services, and there has never been any complaint, so i guess i'll try it there when I get there, i'm sure it will be worth it. thanks again. oh, would you be able to recommend a stylist, so I'd at least know who to ask for.
I go because the girls in there are trained and worked in London and that is where most people go from around the uk to be trained properly as i have had some bad hair cuts in the past and you generally get what you paid for!
wow! that's a lot! at least to me, because if I convert that to PhP, that's around PhP 4200. and I get my haircut here for PhP 50, that's just QR 3.50, well i guess the cost of living in Doha really is more expensive compared to Manila. But then again, I won't get this kind of job opportunity in Manila, so what the heck!
do you get free accommodation, free meals (3x a day, 7days a week), transportation allowance? uniform or clothing allowance? if not, forget it. you can also try the "salary ranges..." thread for mor details as to what you may expect to spend while in Doha, or the "expenses saving" thread.
I'm going to work in Doha in a few months and I got a salary only QR 2500/month. It's very low salary there I think but I would like to try. Could you advice me anything that I will stay there with low salary? Thank you so much
hey, thanks for the info, i've been wondering about this for quite some time now. would you be able to tell the price range of their haircuts. i've heard about this salon and i know that they're good. thanks so much.
Nobody seems to have faulted them so far... and I've only had nice comments everytime I've gone there...which is twice( and had about eight compliments on my hair!!). That's the first time I've been complimented by total strangers so many times.
I'm sorry but I don't know any HR Managers in Doha apart from Intercon's, and i'm not at liberty to divulge such information. if you'd like, you can post a topic in the forum and maybe somebody may be able to help you. much as i'd like to help, i'm afraid i can't.
Angel face,it is definately not the answer to ur question ,but i know ur very helpful ,so can u plz tell me some contacts(email address) for any good Hr manager who knows all the relevent laws relating to Qatar work visa.
