Wisdom and Barter
WISDOM:-
When I have ceased to break my wings
Against the faultiness of things,
And learned that compromises wait
Behind each hardly opened gate,
When I have looked Life in the eyes,
Grown calm and very coldly wise,
Life will have given me the Truth,
And taken in exchange—my youth.
BARTER:-
Life has loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fire that sways and sings,
And children's faces looking up
Holding wonder like a cup.
Life has loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of gold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight, Holy thoughts that star the night.
Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of peace
Count many a year of strife well lost,
And for a breath of ecstasy Give all you have been, or could be.
Im glad tht u loved it.you learned about compromises, wat about exchanging ur youth with truth.I think this has the answer y we get so much pleaced when we see a cute little baby or a kid.
You would have observed that when a child gets closed to or love someone he/she will give tht person the response in shape of smile or a chearful gesture as soon as he/she would see him, this is because he/she has,nt learned that it can spoil that other person and he may take him/her forgranted lol.
You have to be wise to tackle the world but u gotta give up ur tenderness and youth for tht.
I love it too ;-)
