Finding a good home for Bubba

Bubba's Dogography (Named from the film "Forest Gump")
We arrived in Doha on the 2nd June from Kuwait, and it was in that very first week that we found him strung up by wire, screaming out in terror on his last legs. He had been left to die in the full sun, unable to sit and without water. He was ignored by everyone who passed. Of course, our response was immediate and we saved him from a lingering death.
He is about six months old, a Saluki/Labrador cross with short, champagne blond hair and a lovely nature.
The Retriever in him accounts for his love of water. He is highly intelligent and his greatest physical attribute are his eyes, which are exquistitely sorrowful. He is inquisitive, cheeky and naughty and full of life and can run run like the wind.
His favourite meal is breakfast, when he enjoys the toast and vegemite crusts my husband shares with him before setting off for work.
Naturally, he sleeps on our bed where he twitches and chats whilst having vivid puppy dreams.
He knows the commands "sit" and "come here". However, to "stay" is a bit iffy.
He is socialised with other dogs at the park.
He walks well on a leash.
He loves to have a bath.
He goes well in the car, particularly the front passenger seat, where he gets the full effect of the AC up his nose.
He wears a jaunty cravat dog collar when he is taken out and about.
He loves to chat at great length to express himself and gain your full attention.
He is HOUSE TRAINED and uses a litter bowl.
In closing: Sadly we are unable to take him with us when we leave Qatar in the very near future. We are faced with heart-breaking prospect of putting him to sleep, if we can't find him an excellent home. He was saved from an horrific death which the majority chose to ignore. We cannot risk anyone doing that EVER to him again.
PLEASE help us to help him.
