hi. i wonder if, as an HR Admin, 6000QR/mo (basic salary: QR 3600 per month, housing allowance: QR 1500 per month, transport, travel and medical allowance: QR 900 per month) is good?
I don't have much knowledge about salary ranges in Qatar, but from what I've read throughout this site, that's not a very good offer. I'm going to be a Training Coordinator (probably on the same level as an HR Admin. like yourself)for a 5-star hotel, and I'll be receiving QR 3000. Initially, I thought that was a bad offer, but since I get free accommodations, meals, and transportation, that's not so bad anymore, because that means I get to keep all of that since I won't be paying any bills like rent and utilities. And did I mention that my training experience is not from a hotel, so technically I don't have much of an experience to speak of? But if you're getting QR 6000, inclusive of housing and tranportation allowances, nothing will be left to you. I know of someone in this site who pays QR 4700 a month for a 2 bedroom flat in a new building at the Old Airport Area. If that is to be a basis for computation, all you will have left for yourself will be QR 1300, and there will be further deductions for utilities, groceries, and going around. And I hear the rent is expected to go even higher...
We should advice on salary based on profession...she is going to work as HR administrator, for that job its a descent pay. In medium size companies HR managers draw not more then 20K gross.

How does that appear decent? That is 6000qr TOTAL compensation...most FLATS cost more than that a month now.
Housing allowance of 1500 p/m? I don't think so unless cricro3011 wants to share with at least 3 others or pay part of the salary towards housing.
HR Admin could also mean being part of the HR administration team...
For such a position the salary appears decent..

Mickey Mouse offer.
I don't have a lot of experience, that looks terrible to me.
What goes 'round, comes 'round ...
Not even close to a good offer...no where near close.
