Medical Certificate for Pakistanis

HI All,

I have just joined Qatar living .The topics and discussions are really cool and I have gathered some really valuable information before my departure. I would be there in doha soon, however I was just wodering if anyone of you could help me ragarding the requirment of madical certificate for pakistanis to bring it with them, which is required to be produced to immigration deptt here in Qatar for obtaining work visa.I know that I will have to go through medical testing again in Qatar, but is there anyone who can tell as to whether the above mentioned certificate from a recognized(by all GCC countries)institution in Pakistan requires further attestation by Qatary embassy in Pakistan. The embassy has told me that it does,nt need their attestation nor they can do it.Now my prospective employer in Qatar keep asking me for that attestation.Could anyone of you please guide me or give me a website address from where the relevent information can be obtained and shown to them.

Thanks

In lahore only shukahat khanum is mentioned. List was provided by my employer, so as far as I know it must be approved by Qatar Gov.

I don’t really know how you can convince your employer.

I hope things work out for you.

Thanks a lot Beast, however I would like to request two things.

Firstly Please check that page agian and see If Iqra medical complex(Lahore) is there in the list.

Secondly ,I have obtained the certificate from them and scanned it and send it to my employer in Qatar. Now they asked me to get the certificate attested by Qatari Embassy, which they have refused to do and told me that this certificate is from approved institution and therefore does,nt need any attestation. Now I wish to know how can I give them the proof for this fact that this does,nt need any further attestation.I have informed the employer about this ,lets see.Still I feel there should be a web site for all information regarding these issues ,so that one should not have any imbiguity and time is not wasted in getting things done.

Welcome to qatar... Lets deal with medical problem first. In my case I was given a list of hospitals which are approved by qatar government and I was asked to do my medical, scan and send it to my company, I was hired from Oman, Muscat.

Fortunately for you, Oman and Pakistan Approved clinics were on the same page which they scanned and emailed me.

Here is a list, I am not sure which city you from so I will write the ones in major cities.

Karachi

1)Liaquat National Hospital

2)Agha Khan Hospital

3) 7th Day Adventist Hospital

Lahore

1) Shoukhat Khanam Hospital

Islamabad

1) Shifa International Hospital

Wish you very best and if there is anything that I can help you with as a fellow countrymen please do let me know.

Best of luck, dost

You will have to go undergo a medical here for HIV, hepatitis and TB, maybe some others.
