Life in QP

Dear Friends,

I am from India and would be moving to Qatar next month. I wish to get some information from somebody presently working in QP and a member of this site too.

How is working environment in QP in IT dept? Is it worth taking up one year contarct in QP? Do they extend ? and how is their residential compound where I would be staying in a villa?
