House rentals

I am A Indian moving to Qatar in May.. could some one give me a idea on the rentals in qatar for a bachelor pad (studio types) i.e. Room + bath + small kitchenette.
How is the rentals for the same and also the rentals for 1 Bedroom apartment.

PL guide me if you can and educate me on the rentals so i can negotiate with my prospective employer on my house rent allowance before i land in Qatar.

Well its u and ur luck, i guess one room is about 700Qr but am living in a house with my cousin and his wife it contains three rooms, three Bathrooms, one kitchen, and one big sit room and its only 4500 QR so its u and ur luck Joey anyways hope u find wat ur looking for

The cheapest studio apartments i ever saw were 3800 pm... i ended up renting a two bedroom apt for 6000 pm. Butterfly is right, one bed apartments are rarer than rocking horse manure.

Joey Hi,

There is a shortage of 1 bed aparments. You might have to share.

Try to negociate an allowance of 5000. Anything less and most probably you will have to look for sharing accommodation.
