Solar Car Plant in Qatar

Time is getting ripe for the proposal to put up a Solar Car Plant in the country, in view of its futuristic demand.

With the availability of cheap oil and gas energy and huge steel and aluminum plants, Qatar has all the potentials to consider such a proposal with specific focus to manufacture cheap solar cars for the specific purpose of export.

Qatar's geographical location can also allow her to compete with Japan and European car manufacturers.

Positive thoughts are invited.

Qatar can benifit from cheap asian labour, abundant energy deposits and un-utilised land by investing into various sectors. In this case, like they have done with Solar World, Germany, for selling solar panels, they will have to make a marketing agreement with their principals.

Qatar is already running some of the biggest and complex plants in the world for several decades now. Take the example of Qafco, which is heavily technology reliant and all of their produce is exported out, thus generating huge revenues for the country.

Multi national companies can come in, bring in their expertize and set the standards required for such a futuristic yet high potential plant.

Perhaps, this could be added up in the national vision 2030.

GodFather.

Not a good idea, as all the raw materials for steel and Aluminium are imported from abroad!

On top of that they will need to import the technology to build such cars and not to forget the experts to run the plants!
