I have been told that for Visa stamping you require Original degree and birth certificates which get attested on the ORIGINAL without any lamination by the Qatar embassy which charges approx. INR 5000 per attestation.

Do they stamp on the original document by tearing apart the lamination if any. How far is this true ?

please guide

Hi Guys..

After reading this posts, I have few questions.

I have got a job and would be working at HMC. I am awaiting for my visa for past 3 months now.

I want to know how much time does it take to get the visa and what are the procedures after you get the visa.

Also, what is this attestion all about and why do they do it on original documents and charge for the same?

It is better to approach any attestation agencies here in Qatar. They charged me around 500 riyals and i got the attested degree certificate from India within 10 days of submission.

This is your first job in qatar or did you change your company thats why they ask for Attestation?

Or it is just renewal of your visa.

Attestation is done on the back side of certificate.

They wil remove the lamination, seen some certificate of same type.

No idea about the rates.
