VISA stamping is required in new passport

I am Indian, I renewed my wife passport last month for Husband name adding & address change ,Her RP was stamped in old pp,Is it need to re-stamp the RP to Her new passport?
We want to travel next month to India. Is it need to re-stamp the RP to Her new passport?

just attach your old passport with valid visa to your new passport, the immigration officer will be checking that

With a Qr.100/- nominal fee, you can do that. Having renewed pass-port means, the old pass-port is cancelled. Visa stamped in cancelled pass-port is not valid. May be somebody travelled before in the same situation by the oversight of the Emmgn.Dept. Rabbit will not die each time, whenever the Jack fruit fall..

If you are not transferring the RP to the new Passport she should carry both Passports. You can do it on the RP renewal.

better to restamp the RP to the new passport and it takes little time why to take tension during travelling whether they will allow or not maybe hemalatha was lucky to got away without any problem

not required, same thing happened to me also but I carried both the passports when I was going to india.my visa is not printed in new passport.i travelled in march 2013 return back in may 2013.

this can be done in one day, i think they charge 100 riyal.

but it is necessary to do.
