Hi!

Kindly enlighten me on this before I sign the contract:
I am being offered a post of Admin/HR Officer with a salary of $1,400 per month, with free transportation and accommodation. However, I have to shoulder for my food and other expenses .

Is this a good offer?

Thanks!!

For a kick start in Qatar this salary sounds good.

dont worry. food isnt much expensive as long as you want to have a kfc every other day. start cooking on your own. food items are affordable here. If you are looking to lead a simple yet enjoyable life this salary is good.

I wish you good luck with your carrer and life in Qatar.

This is a normal salary of first timer in Qatar. The salary is fair enough for you considering that it is much harder living in the Philippines because what taxes cannot get from you, inflation will.

Welcome to Qatar.

Since ur company provides u free accom & transport, i think its fair enough.

sample monthly budget (not a lavish living):

basic food = QR600

Shopping = QR1000

internet = QR250

mobile load = QR200

others = will be your savings.

I welcome u here in Qatar. Have a nice trip!

Is this in USD? If this is in USD it is acceptable. Cost of food and other expenses usually cost around 150-400 USD per month or higher depending on your spending and lifestyle. You still have 1000 USD for savings and remittance.

Welcome!
