Floor carpet - need urgent help

ya there are thick plastic sheets costing 100qr/mt and lot of kids room designs as well and carpet you can use not permanent sticking one but foldable one option if Required

Why not try both.. plastic as basic sheet so that I can be easily clean and carpet as cushion where in you can place beside the bed of your daughter and in front of the door which serve as a mantle :)

If you are going for carpets better go for the ones which are flat. Carpet Centre is a good place to choose.

The reason i'm keen on a carpet is to get some cushioning against the hard floor. do the plastic sheets (you mentioned) provide some sort of cushioning as well?

I Wud agree with MM option to go for Plastic Sheets 100QR/mt and also lesser prices with thickness Variations available at najma market very Hygenic and can be liquid Cleaned and using carpets Dust forms causing dust allergy

Try shops near the Qatar Palace Hotel. The road going towards Arab Bank Roundabout. There are lots of shops over there for Carpets & Curtains.

Also try the Carpet Center in Mansoura.

You can give them measurements or They will first come to your place take the measurements and then they will come and install the carpets.

Since you have only one room they will be able to install it in max one hour.

@Radius never by used ones since it will cause health problems for you and your family!!

carpets are harmful .... to health ... breathing etc ..

If u want used carpet but look like new, visit souq haradz (najma)or souq khamis in salwa.

It purely depends on your budget. I have seen carpets of 100 thousands as well. Persian and Turkey hand made are very costly. My friend makes carpets in Turkey, just to finish one it takes her a year+ and it was 175,000 USD.

Visit any carpet shop and you will get a good idea. Good Luck.
