jade03 it is clearly stated in the first sentence that it was the government who is urging the private company, regardless if you are a muslim or not, as long as you are part of the private sector. The problem is they are a bit loose in implementing the law...I've heard a lot of complains about the working hours in qatar and yet still no actions has been done....

Why is it appearing here and repeated in QL ? Instead others should being in majority of up to 95% in strength should act accordingly for the interest of company as regulars.

Sorry to speak the true. All are just taking advantage by doing so sitting in a/c halls and abusing the muslims and . . . ?

Now in this connection if the company takes work with their employees over 6hrs, then they will be knowing what the law is and will be safe to do so other wise they will be fined and they will never take such risks. In many companies all work for 5hrs/6hrs including non-muslims, so the companies are acting with good deeds. But else where in the world it is different where the fasting muslims work for more than 8hrs, but still they do not raise questions.

The subject refers to muslims here, though it has not distinguished clearly because it is from a organization and not ministry. All points is for people fasting i.e, muslims where as all others are free to have food and beverages freely in offices and even take benefits of law and charity. The law is very clear in some countries like oman which says 6hrs for muslims/fasting and others all 8hrs.
