Drones - More lies and cover ups

Drones - More lies and cover ups

Tonight, NBC released a bombshell story on the government's drone targeting program, indicating that the U.S. isn't always certain of who they're targeting, despite assurances otherwise.

"The CIA did not always know who it was targeting and killing in drone strikes in Pakistan over a 14-month period, an NBC News review of classified intelligence reports shows.

About one of every four of those killed by drones in Pakistan between Sept. 3, 2010, and Oct. 30, 2011, were classified as "other militants,” the documents detail. The “other militants” label was used when the CIA could not determine the affiliation of those killed, prompting questions about how the agency could conclude they were a threat to U.S. national security."

"The documents also show that drone operators weren’t always certain who they were killing despite the administration’s guarantees of the accuracy of the CIA’s targeting intelligence and its assertions that civilian casualties have been “exceedingly rare.”...

Only countries with little or no self respect for itself or its people can allow other countries to fly drones in their airspace and go on to kill and blow up innocent men, women and children or is it that someone stands to gain some dollars by keeping quiet and allowing this things to go on and on

"..going into depression and loosing their peace of mind and sanity once they see the pictures of the carnage done by the drones "

I don't think that's true. It is like a video game to them. The thrill of the kill exhilerates and makes them go for more..

Next 20 years, I will order a pizza by drone services. And if the drone made a mistake, my pizza will end up in 'other militants' tummy. I protest against these inaccuracies of drone services.

BG , pak said they don't want more drones attacks, but thats clear bluffing's they cant even see the drones coming... Only built more medical facilities to prevent more civilian deaths.

why does pak or any another country need missiles or ambulances just leave that country alone from attacks or drone attacks n let them live in peace n harmony

By alex brod• 6 Jun 2013 10:19

Pak needs anti drone missiles who are in stealth modes, I think they need more ambulance to those far flung mountain villages to immediately tackle the injured persons , much less there where doctors without boarders there in place .

Getting back to the topic..

I have written to local papers and politicians regarding drone attacks. The simple question is "who watches the watcher".

Drones, whilst a great weapon, need to be used properly and for specific targets. At present it is all too easy to "justify" their use which is leading to deaths of innocent civilians..

People who believe in 9/11 are same as Gorge Bush believed Iraq has WMD. and all those jokes about Bush in internet applies to them as well. :)
