disilva...ur post doesn't belong here....but even then I can give you my opinion.....my first cousin is a doctor here working for 6 months....the minimum offer in doha for any doctor is about 25000 plus house..only some shhittt private groups (like Apollo, Aster etc) with horrible management give low salary like 15000 and that too without separate housing...so my advice....don't jump into such crap offers....wait and get into good places like HMC..they offer double the salary and a house. Even many secretaries in good companies make 15000

i am a doctor. I am being offered a job in qatar. Pay might be around 15000 QR with accomodation. Currently i am earning half this money in my country without the benifits of accomodation.

Is this a decent offer? I am married and my wife might take up a job there but its not confirmed yet. We do not have any kids as of now.

of late the MOI is not allowing babies to be sponsored even though the parents are residents here. This is often when the parents combined income is below 12000. They are giving reasons like not enough schools and health facilities to retain kids here!! so your frnd may be in for a rude shock when she approaches MOI for her baby's visa. delivery should not be a problem though given that she is the 'legal' parent!!
