By MarcoNandoz-01 •
So I recently attended a workshop on personal development just received my result via email for the personality test, and while I did really well in critical/analytical thinking and decision, taking, I was very bad on both values and beliefs.)":
So do you think personal values & beliefs are determinant in career success?
Great news. That means MN-01 should succeed :O)
I go on with your statement,
The Power of Mind. Positive thinking will put you on top.
Personal values and beliefs are determining factors in how one acts. So, they do matter.
Yes, if you were a good person you will care a lot about your colleagues and that will not make your Job done, and also the people listen more to the mean people.
and for sure if you were not mean enough you will never be a boss ,, lol
I think you can be mean and not believing in God and a successes person !!!
Bankers have loan and credit card repayment values.....
politicians have money values
Please don't confuse others here.
Cheese and butter are different but one needs to remember that both come from one milk, my brother.
Well, I didn’t think values/Beliefs were important, because in my opinion values/beliefs are subjective and they are dependent upon an individual or group of individuals and is subject to change or differ.
Yes. Basically, personal values and beliefs are included in what will make you who you are in the future.
is basically the kindness & compassion which is need of the hour in this world.
Humbles is correct ..
can't be soft without values & belief.
then yes one's personal convictions, expectations, and reliance, and their ambitions and actions stemming from these beliefs and attitudes, can certainly determine, or at least alleviate their success in any aspects of life including their careers.
Of course they have a huge impact on your career. I was part of the team doing research on what is the most determinant factor in start up success... and the number 1 factor was self-efficacy. There is no doubt that our values and beliefs have direct impact. For instance if you lack integrity which is one of values people will stop doing business with you... there are millions examples out there... values and beliefs also determine our EQ.. something that some researchers believe have more impact on your career than IQ.
I don't think that it has that big effect ,,
Surely it all depends on what those values and beliefs are.
