WHAT IS NOC FOR?
I was just wondering if you resign in your present job and you get an NOC from them what good it will do when you do not have a release?
Could you still work for other company?
What would probably happen to your visa?
I would certainly appreciate your comments/knowlegde for the same.

yram if have NOC without release, you have to exit Qatar and provide your NOC to your next company and come back here after the approval of your new visa under the new company. Goodluck!

I would have been for your answer but the 'Stupid part' I don't appreciate well people I am asking a question and considering a newbee in Doha, how could I possibly know. However it's better to have asked than remain Ignorant.

release meant Visa Transfer. If your company not giving you Visa Transfer but NOC, they will cancel your present Visa and you need to go back or out of Qatar. But from the NOC your new sponsor can apply for your visa and once you got the Visa under new sponsor you can comeback to Doha. By giving NOC your current employer can retain a visa for your nationality quota.

Well, to work with other company u need NOC ( no objection letter),, to be able to transfer ur sponsorship to another company and without that NOC issued by the current company, u wont be able to work with anyone, and ur sponsor may cancel ur visa and send u back home.. and after completing 2 years ban u will be able to come with new visa and new employer
