Aircraftmechanic salary

Hi! I have a friend who is an Aircraft Mechanic grade T6 who wish to apply with Qatar Airways.

Accommodation and other benefits are already in the package we only need to know the basic salary to demand! Can anyone tell me how much he should demand as a monthly salary?

Please!!! only real answer, right amount and not exaggerating salary so I can give him an idea how much to expect in reality. Thanks a lot! ;)

my friend is making 12k. not sure which grade he is in. 12k without accommodation. with accommodation much lesser i believe.
