CHANGE OF PROFESSION
Can anyone suggest a way forward for me? I have a foreman visa, but I have a degree in civil engineering. Now am just 4 months with this new company, though have been in Qatar for 4 years now. Can someone suggest to me how I can effect this change NOW without having to wait for the next 8 months when my RP will be renewed? I have all documents for this. I need to get RP for my family. I need a way out. Thank you.

First of all check with your Company if they have visas for that Category. If they have and if they are ready to give you the necessary documents then you can apply. See the list of documents required.

ID copy of the authorized signatory
ID copy of the applicant
Educational certificate (Translated in Arabic and attested by the ministry of foreign affairs and respective embassy in Qatar)
Company ID copy
Existing Employment Contract
New Employment Contract (1 original + 3 copies) company stamped & signed by both parties
Valid Municipality License copy
Valid Commercial Registration copy
Electricity Bill (Applicant’s)
Salary Certificate + 6 months Bank Statement
I have not applied for family RP yet, but my family is here on Visit Visa.From what people say on QL, foreman is NOT eligible for family RP.
Have you checked with immigration that with Foreman Status you cannot get Family Visa?
