Good Morning Mates,

Hope all good.

Just as a quick feedback for next Sports day..

1. Where did you go for the sports day celebrations?
2. What did you enjoy most?
3. Will you recommend people to go there again next year?
4. If it is No for Q# 3, Why?

Will be looking forward.

Regards,

LLR

...Public sports day events would not be able to cater to the crowds. I would not and will not attend any.

attended a private event and it was wonderful. It was in a 5 star hotel - beach side - beach football, volley, etc etc. Very well organised, perfect number of people plus good healthy breakfast and lunch.

It was so well organised that i skipped my Company event

I heard about the punch up on the Corniche too, but want to know more about it.

Were there really guys fighting with each other to get free t-shirts and mugs?

Went to Aspire at about 3ish. Everything was winding up.

There were many families, kids playing on inflatable castles, some kind of show in arabic, thts when the disaster happened.

My 5yr old saw a kite flying and saw tht many people had those. We went and joined the queue and after about 5mins one guy kept showing a picture and saying(al emadi in arabic atleast thts what it sounded) and was turning people away.

My daughter was pestering me for the silly kite.

We could not get it coz it was free(apparently for only some people). And those people managed to get 3 or 4 bags of these kites.

It was not fair for the kids who missed out on those kites. I was able to appease my daughter with a Horse ride, which she was happy to ride.

Thank God for happy ending :)

This year we had great fun at sports national day.

The govt of Qatar has been investing so much towards making sports day a day filled with lots of activities, with the aim to provide the highest quality of sports education/awareness.

Personally spent the day between Aspire Academy and Katara had loads of fun trying out many things like boxing, zumba dancing, tennis, badminton, netball, volleyball, and acrobatics! I

Thank you Qatar!

Disorganised waste of time as expected. I went along to Katara just to check it out, but it was a disaster! no fault of those poor volunteers who gave up their day.

Did anyone else hear about the punch up on the corniche over the free t-shirts and mugs haha

One more opportunities for the Oil , Gas and other big corporate s to spend their promotional budgets.

Went to Kattara and watched the 3 on 3 basket ball , it was not bad.
