Qatar Charity (QC) announced that it was urgently intervening to support displaced and affected families in the Gaza Strip. In addition to distributing 2,300 food baskets, it also dispatched 16 aid trucks carrying essential supplies to support displaced families and ensure the continuous flow of aid into the Strip.

The 14th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) officially kicked off at the Hotel Park on Wednesday. QIFF 2025, which brings together over 100 local vendors and 27 international restaurants and cafes, will conclude on February 22.

As per the decision, Qatar’s Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari will be the new Chairman while Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani will be the Vice Chairman.

English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur could be the latest club to have Qatari owners as a consortium is understood to be actively pursuing the deal. Club Chairman Daniel Levy could continue at Tottenham, should the bid be successful, reported British newspaper The Guardian.

Effective February 1, 2025, Saudi Arabia will issue only single-entry visas for pilgrims from 14 countries.

Qatar’s healthcare industry got a major shot in the arm when four hospitals from the country made it to the list of top-100 hospitals from around the world, in the recent Global Top 250 Hospitals report by Brand Finance.
