Multiple venues across Qatar are currently hosting a variety of sports activities as the country celebrates the annual National Sport Day (NSD) with full vigour and enthusiasm. Qatar’s Minister of Sports and Youth HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani highlighted the importance of NSD activities in promoting a healthy lifestyle among people.
The Katara Cultural Village will host several events of the National Sport Day (NSD) programme on Tuesday. A number of ministries, government agencies, private institutions, and members of the public are expected to take part. The events, which will begin at 8am, will go on until 5pm.
On National Sport Day, the Aspire Zone Foundation will host a diverse range of over 20 sporting activities, designed for all members of the community, at its open-air facilities in Aspire Park. The activities, which will begin at 8am and go on until 1pm, are tailored to suit people of different age groups and fitness levels.
Msheireb Downtown Doha is set to transform itself into a beehive of activity on Tuesday when it hosts several events as part of Qatar’s National Sport Day. Different activities involving sports, technology, and wellness will be available and they will be a perfect fit for the entire family. The different activities will run from 8am to 4pm, and 5pm to 8pm.
Qatar’s healthcare industry got a major shot in the arm when four hospitals from the country made it to the list of top-100 hospitals from around the world, in the recent Global Top 250 Hospitals report by Brand Finance.
