English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur could be the latest club to have Qatari owners as a consortium is understood to be actively pursuing the deal. Club Chairman Daniel Levy could continue at Tottenham, should the bid be successful, reported British newspaper The Guardian.

Effective February 1, 2025, Saudi Arabia will issue only single-entry visas for pilgrims from 14 countries.

On National Sport Day, the Aspire Zone Foundation will host a diverse range of over 20 sporting activities, designed for all members of the community, at its open-air facilities in Aspire Park. The activities, which will begin at 8am and go on until 1pm, are tailored to suit people of different age groups and fitness levels.

Msheireb Downtown Doha is set to transform itself into a beehive of activity on Tuesday when it hosts several events as part of Qatar’s National Sport Day. Different activities involving sports, technology, and wellness will be available and they will be a perfect fit for the entire family. The different activities will run from 8am to 4pm, and 5pm to 8pm.

Tuesday, February 11, 2025, will be an official holiday in Qatar to celebrate National Sport Day.  

Effective from Sunday, February 09, 2025, this applies to those who have overstayed their visa or violated residency regulations.
