Hope all is well. Would you kindly pass on an email to the ILPG ladies, about a Donation Bank that I am starting to help out needy families around Doha. I have just started this and am relying solely on donations from individuals. Anyone interested can drop off items, or if they don't drive, I will be willing to pick up items.
I am collecting Women's and children's clothing especially newborn! Any kids toys, strollers, baby seats, etc.
I am working with the Social service department at Hamad Hospital who will be referring individuals and families in need to me on a regular basis. Newborn care packages is one of my main focuses. Women's clothing is for the moms in need, and for women at the deportation centers. All items are delivered personally to the person in need.
The Doha community has been extremely generous and helpful in the past and I know I can count on their on going support now. I will list some items that have been identified to me as desperately needed.
Baby Blankets, newborn socks, onesies (diaper shirts), sleepers, baby bonnets, caps, and pacifiers.
