In my company the driver pasy as he should. That way he will think about driving properly. It is a deterrent to negligent and dangerous driving practices.

The driver of course. The company is not liable for driver offenses.

Some drivers are very arrogant. Fines are the only way to keep them in their place.

The company????? Keep thinking like that and you will automatically qualify to be a Californian or better yet an American Democrat.

U hav mentioned company with drivers, so just estimating tht der wud b loads of drivers and loads of vechiles involved... The only other way de driver can jump de payment(Since all des people hardly get is 800 - 1000QAR)is if the company doesn't find out who was driving at de time of placin de fine, simple. If de company doesnt hav an account of who drove tht day at tht time, den the company wud end up payin de fine else de company wud hav installed a VDO key which cud say who drove de car when and wot time...

The driver when driving whole day every day is prone to a mistake since his job has that risk which cannot be prevented by any PPE. So like an insurance cover there should be a partial cover atleast by the company after ensuring that he is not a habitual offender.

The driver obviously... unless the company allows him to drive fast and disobey the law..

It must paid by the Driver, otherwise he will continue the same. In case of valid Istimara, the company has to pay but driver must check all the documents original in the car as per rules and regulations.

Its obvious that the Driver should pay the fine,

Its the dirver who driving the veh and since he is driving in qatar its his duty to abide the rules and if he has committed an offence then its his mistake.

At the most he can do is request the co. to help him by paying the half of the amount of his fine.
