Where Where Where?

Hi, so I arrived last Monday night!

I am trying to wrap my head around where things are, the names of the different parts of the city, where north/south/east/west may be, and to not feel nauseated in the roundabouts!

Right now I am staying in an area on Salwa road (I think), near a Mercedes Benz dealership. For work I will be spending 75% of my time in the Abu Hamour area, near the schools, and the other 25% in the Al Gharrafa area. I am thinking the best place is closer to where I'll mostly be, so there is less driving. Since I don't know the names of the areas, I thought maybe someone would be able to guide me so I know where to look!

I am hoping to find a place that has 2 bedrooms, nice bathroom, a kitchen, wireless, gym...etc etc

Thanks!

Beela habibi so your finally here eh? just sent u a pm, dont worry nothing useful in the pm just thought i'd be the first to harass u :)

if your gonna be working mostly in the abu hamour area then u might want to check for places in Mamoura and Salwa itself. decent 2 bhk places apartments will be for around 7 to 9k depending on location and facilities etc. Buy yourself a map it will come handy for you.

Beela, If you are on Salwa road, get yourself to Jarir bookstore, buy a map and pin it to your door so you know where you are going every time you leave home!
