Where and what would you rent with 16,000 a month? 3bed?

My family and I are moving to Qatar and we have a budget of 16,000 QR per month and have a 2 month old son. I want a 3bed and would really like to know what people would do with that budget?

I don't want to be too far out though and love the idea of a high quality flat in a great development.

We would be moving in September and my suspicion is the rental market is starting to drop as there is a huge supply of properties coming up with the completion of The Pearl and Zig Zag? I doubt the demand exists?

Hey,

with such amount you can rent a nice 3 bedrooms fully furnished villa in Al Waab Area which is the best in Doha. In that area there are a lot of compounds with fully facilities as swimming pool. gym, club house, squash court etc.

Ciao

You could get a new 5 bedroom villa in a compound in Al-Soudan (South). It would also be fully furnished for QR 13,000. Also, I've seen a 4 bedroom villa in a small (16 villa) compound with excellent facilities for QR14,000. Again this was in Al-Soudan which is quite central.

find out where the location of your office is at. You don't need to be by school so you should choose to be as close to work as possible. Traffic here is horendous at rush hour time and you will want to avoid being stuck in traffic as much as possible. It's best to pick a place near your work.

On that budget you can get a decent flat or villa perhaps with more than 3 bedrooms and possible semi furnished. welcome and goodluck!
